Currently
we have two schools open,
Sensei Tammy Marsh's in Leavenworth
KS.
and Sensei Michael Cofer's in Burlington KS.
We are very small schools and are not in this for the money. We simply wish to carry
on our traditions that were taught to us by Shihan John H. Horn who was taught by Master Yuichi Kuda. I am sad to say that
both have passed on from this world.
We teach mostly traditional
forms, weapons and aspects. Not much has changed in twenty years. We have made some additions through the years, but
we do not want to forget all the little details taught to us. So we are making a great effort to teach, teach, teach so that
nothing is forgotten.
We also have been teaching Tomiki-Ryu Aikido
for almost as long.
Our Shihan, John Horn was able to obtain this art
in the early 1980's while training in the security and defensive tactics field, to teach guards and officers in the Leavenworth
KS. and Kansas City area.
